  1. INTERCEPT P-80 ESCORT FIGHTERS
  2.  
  3. A formation of American heavy bombers 
  4. is heading toward Kassel.  Their target is 
  5. likely to be the munitions factory, as the 
  6. Allies have been hitting these installations 
  7. hard lately.  As you and your flight leader 
  8. take your Bf 109s out in front of a flight of 
  9. Me 262s to sweep the enemy escort 
  10. fighters, you notice that their silhouettes 
  11. appear different than the P-51s and P-47s 
  12. you normally encounter.  And then you 
  13. see why...these are the new American jet 
  14. fighters!

  16.                     YOUR MISSION
  17.  
  18. Follow your flight leader to intercept the 
  19. P-80s escorting the B-17s.  Try to keep 
  20. the P-80s away from the Me 262s as they 
  21. make their attack runs on the bombers.
  22.  
  23. Let the 262s attack the bombers while you 
  24. concentrate on shooting down only the P-
  25. 80s, unless all of your jets are shot down.  
  26. Then, if necessary, you can make a last 
  27. ditch attempt at stopping any remaining 
  28. bombers before they hit their target.
